The biggest shock was Astralis losing their entry fragger, dupreeh, who was diagnosed with appendicitis and forced to stay at the hospital for treatment after their first game. The groups were exciting to say the least with many interesting matches and situations arising. This marks the second time that a team has been able to defend their major title as SK Gaming, then known as Luminosity Gaming, won MLG Columbus back in April.
